SS13: Evans stuns his rivals

31/03/2019

After losing the lead of the rally in the last stage yesterday evening, Elfyn Evans completely turned the tables this morning by dominating the first special, ‘Eaux de Zilia’! The Welshman opened up a gap of 16 seconds over his main rival, Thierry Neuville, and has put himself in a strong position to clinch victory. The Belgian who is now in second spot must pull out all the stops in the Power Stage to get back in front. Sébastien Ogier consolidated his place on the podium by taking advantage of the brake problems that hit Dani Sordo.
