Despite a great top speed and seven stage wins, the driver from Corsica couldn’t fight for victory after several tyre punctures and a cardan shaft break. The Swedish driver Emil Bergkvist, winner of the JWRC final in Turkey, wins the title ahead of his compatriot Dennis Rådström.

5: As the number of victories seized by Jan Kopecký this season in WRC2. After Monte-Carlo, Corsica, Italy and Germany, the Czech driver takes a fifth success in Turkey and get closer to the title. He is now 32 points ahead of his teammate Pontus Tidemand before the last three stops of the season.

8: As the number of WRC crews that had to retire during Rally Turkey Marmaris. On a rugged road, the tenth round of the season was particularly devastating and saw Ogier and Neuville, the main WRC title favorites, come back home empty handed after some mechanical issues. 15: 11th stop of the season, the Dayinsure Wales Rally GB will take place in 15 days from 4th to 7th October and will start the final sprint of a very unpredictable 2018 season. With only 23 points between Thierry Neuville and Sébastien Ogier, the Rally of Great Britain will surely be a turning point of the 2018 season.
