SS7 – Ott Tänak confirms that the Toyotas are back in contention

07/04/2018

After Esapekka Lappi’s excellent performances yesterday and this morning, it was Ott Tänak’s turn to star in the CORSICA linea – Tour de Corse by setting his first scratch time in the event. The Estonian was followed by Sébastien Ogier, still firmly installed in the lead, and Esapekka Lappi. This afternoon promises a ding-dong battle in the overall classification between Thierry Neuville, second, Kris Meeke, third, and Tanak, fourth, separated by only 7.3 seconds!

We can push a bit harder in this stage without taking risks. We’re improving the car.”
