Date: Saturday 8th April
Section: 3
Special Stage: SS6 Novella 1 (17.25 km)
Weather: Nice and sunny, 24°
Road Conditions: Clean roads.

3. EVANS / BARRITT – FORD FIESTA WRC
[Reported to be off the road]

4. PADDON / KENNARD – HYUNDAI I20 COUPE WRC
In general this stage is much better for everyone. The grip is much higher and it’s going to be easier for everyone. I don’t have much to gain but I’ve got everything to lose.

10. LATVALA / ANTTILA – TOYOTA YARIS WRC
I just try to create more feeling for the brakes. I have finally decided what we need to do and will be better for this afternoon.

6. SORDO / MARTI – HYUNDAI I20 COUPE WRC
It’s very easy to be better than the first stage. The time was not so bad. Sometimes you don’t feel you are good and you do a good time. Sometimes you push hard and the times are not so good. This stage was good, it was a very nice stage last year as well.

8. BREEN / MARTIN – CITROEN C3 WRC
This is the worst place in the world to lose your intercom. I drove the whole stage blind, I watched the “in car” video this morning but I never want to do that again.

5. NEUVILLE / GILSOUL – HYUNDAI I20 COUPE WRC
The stage was good, we have a good feeling. There is dirt coming out of the cuts and so two or three times I went off line. There is only one line and maybe we have to raise the car again for the next run. The car is running slightly better so we are a bit closer.

1. OGIER / INGRASSIA – FORD FIESTA WRC
I was not fast enough. I don’t know why, I can’t really explain it. I didn’t think the feeling was so bad but the time was not there. We have to try to find something as this is not the pace we would like to have.

32. MIKKELSEN / JAEGER-SYNNEVAAG – SKODA FABIA R5
I was too careful in the previous stage. It was better in that one.

84. SARRAZIN / RENUCCI – HYUNDAI I20 R5
I’ve had steering problems since I hit something in the previous stage.

34. SUNINEN / MARKKULA – FORD FIESTA R5
I am still learning a lot on this type of stage.

44. ROSSEL / FULCRAND – CITROEN DS3 R5
I have to be cautious as I have issues with engine power again.
