The World Rally Championship 2016 epilog is approaching and there are two objectives left for the WRC teams. The Dayinsure Wales Rally GB will be the scene of the battle for Manufacturers overall standings and for the accessits behind Sébastien Ogier.

0: Unlike the previous editions, there will not be any midpoint service throughout the British rally. One more reason for the crews to take care of their cars.

1: For the first time in his career, the Frenchman Quentin Gilbert is going to drive a WRC car during the World Rally Championship on the Dayinsure Wales Rally GB. The outgoing Junior WRC Champion will have a chance to prove that he deserves a spot on the the C3 WRC throughout the 2017 season.

3: As the number of Sebastien Ogier’s consecutive victories in the Dayinsure Wales Rally GB. Quite at ease on Welsh ground, the Frenchman will be the spearhead of the Volkswagen Motorsport Team in its quest for the Manufacturer’s World Rally Championship.

15: as the number of WRC crews at the start of the Dayinsure Wales Rally GB. With Sébastien Ogier, Éric Camilli and Quentin Gilbert, three French drivers will compete in the biggest category. France will be the most represented country among WRC cars throughout this penultimate round.

17: For the first time in 17 years in the history of the Dayinsure Wales Rally GB, the drivers will cross England. Indeed, to finish the second leg, a special stage will take place around the Cholmondeley Castle.

180: As the number of special stage kilometers programmed throughout the first leg of the rally, representing more than a half of the 330 kilometers that compose the event!
